Wylie, Texas is a Northeastern Suburb of Dallas, Texas located 10 miles
North of Garland, Texas, 10 miles East of Plano, Texas, and 15 miles
South of McKinney, Texas which is the county seat for Collin county and
19 miles Northeast of downtown Dallas.

The bulk of the city of Wylie is located in Collin County Texas. We are
listed in Forbes as number 8 in fastest growing of Dallas suburbs and in
the nation. The population density is low and at 1504 people per sq. mi.,
and there is still plenty of open land here. In 2000 the population was
listed by U. S. Census at 15,000+ and in seven years has doubled and
grown to 32,696. The new housing boom is still flourishing in Wylie with
new home ground out construction happening daily in a number of
currently undeveloped area’s.

The city as a result has expanded into surrounding counties such as
Dallas County, and Rockwall County.

The city is nestled between Lavon Lake (21,400 acres), and Lake Ray
Hubbard (22,745 acres), and both are within minutes of Wylie, and are
considered some of the largest man made lakes around Texas. So if
fishing, camping, swimming, and recreational water sports are your
passion there is no end to it here. The exception being Lake Ray Hubbard……

Wylie, Texas is located in the Southeast corner of Collin County
sixteen miles south of McKinney, Texas (The County Seat). It is
located on State Highway 78 (N. & S.), and intersects with Farm
Road 544 (E. & W.), one quarter mile south of Ballard Avenue or,
Main Street as it were.

Wylie was originally organized in the early 1870’s as Nickleville,
Texas and it is said to be the name of the first store founded.

In 1886 the Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railway laid track about
a half mile north of the original town site. Within a year the
Nickleville businesses moved to take advantage of services
provided by the railroad, and in doing that renamed their new
location Wylie. The name Wylie was for W.D.Wylie, a Civil War
veteran, and Right-of-Way agent for the railroad. The city is now
situated one half mile north of the original center.

today it shows at 32,696, it has more than doubled and the projected

Fox News, Recently had commentary on The People Waking Up.

Let me pose this as an alternative fuel source. Natural
Gas! They are now aggressively drilling the Barnett Shale
under Tarrant County Texas, namely Fort Worth.

This field is comprised of 500,000 acres, comprised of
Denton, Wise and Tarrant County’s in Texas, and it is
expected to surpass the Hugoton Field and become the
largest Natural Gas Field in the United States.

They have drilled 2040 wells which are in play, and have
just finished their 293rd horizontal well, and currently
have 18 rigs running, 15 of those being horizontals.

Natural Gas is ours, and it burns cleaner offering lower
emissions for the environmentalists without any harm
to specific species of animals etc.. It’s also cheaper than
Gasoline.

There are Schools systems here in Texas who have
switched to Natural Gas fired vehicles to relieve them of
the costs of Gasoline and operation. The Public Transit
company in Fort Worth has gone to Natural Gas fired
vehicles for the same reason. There are also Automobile
manufacturers who make and sell Natural Gas fired vehicles
such as Pick Up Truck and Cars. So this is not a foreign
concept to Detroit etc..

The Hell with OPEC, Natural Gas is a resource which can
be put into affect in short time.

If the Oil Companies don’t get on board that’s their short coming,
the Local Utility companies can build and provide Filling Centers
and/or Stations for the consumer. Those stations can be manned
by the utility’s employee’s to eliminate any supposed danger to
the customer.

In addition this is a resource which can be used in other
industries. It’s here, It’s Ours, and we have Plenty Of It.

If we continue on the path we are on, in 10 years we’re going to
be in deep doo doo to put it mildly.

So with my offering we have an alternative to petroleum. It’s about
time we as citizens of the United States stood up for ourselves
and make the necessary changes to avoid this.
